Playing Santa
Today I was Santa at the daycare. Its funny how kids love Santa… but at the same time they are completely terrified. A number of kids immediately started crying and would not get anywhere near me.
This girl was one of those kids… she loved Santa from a good distance but would start crying when I moved towards her. She eventually warmed up to me and gave me a hug at the end of my rounds.
Santa and Mrs. Clause! Well ok she is not Mrs. Clause but that is Miss Lori the Cook.

I can remember so vividly being so scared of seeing Santa at the mall when I was a kid. It somehow scarred me so bad that I have never once taken my kids to a mall Santa and I don’t think I ever will…..how strange is that I wonder?
