My plan for this blog post was to write it and have it posted before I left for Honduras. But as you can tell that plan did not get put into action. It was hectic before I left between work and getting everything else situated before I left. Oh yeah… And if you did not know I am spending six weeks in Honduras… aka Hondoland. Whoa… wait six seeks… yes you read it correctly.
I will be spending six weeks learning Spanish and volunteering in different areas around La Ceiba. Some of those volunteer opportunities might include helping out a daycare/orphanage and/or offering my knowledge about computers if needed.
My hope is to be able to blog on a regular basis to keep you updated on our adventure. I am travelling with two other companions, Laura and Maria. I have a blog for Laura and Maria and when it is finished I will post the link. I will be blogging on their site from time to time… so keep your eyes peeled.

This was our first plane we had to fly on. I must admit this seemed a bit shady… first time I ever flew on a plan this small. But I am sure this trip will bring many new experiences.
for some reason the pictures on not coming through. can’t wait to see them when you get home.
thats weird… I know that other people have been able to see them. Maybe try a different browser.
